A Fresh Look for a Gulf Shore Boulevard Penthouse
The homeowners loved their beautiful condo, but fading paint, peeling areas, and dated colors were making the interior feel tired. They wanted a fresh color palette that would brighten the kitchen and give the surrounding living spaces a more current appearance.
Having completed several interior and cabinet painting projects in the neighborhood, Apex Painting Group came recommended through referrals. The scope brought walls, trim, and cabinetry together in one coordinated five-day project, with Tom serving as project manager.
Careful Preparation Before the New Color
Preparation addressed the existing surface concerns while protecting the surrounding home. The team sanded surfaces, applied primer, filled nail holes, and caulked joints before completing the painting.
Protecting the Home
Furniture was covered, and windows and fixtures were masked. The preparation photos show protective coverings across nearby surfaces and flooring around the cabinet work area.
Preparing the Surfaces
Sanding and priming helped establish a prepared foundation for the new paint. Nail holes were filled and joints were caulked as part of the interior preparation.
Refreshing the Finish
Sherwin-Williams White Snow SW 9541 in satin provided the fresh color selected for the project, helping the interior and cabinetry feel brighter and more modern.

White Snow in a Fresh Satin Finish
Sherwin-Williams White Snow SW 9541 was selected to give the project a brighter, refreshed appearance. The white cabinetry creates a clean backdrop for the kitchen's decorative backsplash, warm metal hardware, and statement pendant lights.
The finished photos show the white perimeter cabinets alongside the blue island and light countertops. Together, these details give the kitchen the lighter, more modern feel the homeowners wanted.
A Brighter Interior, Completed in Five Days
The project refreshed more than the kitchen cabinetry. Painting the walls and trim alongside the cabinets helped carry the updated look through the penthouse interior. The work addressed the homeowners' concerns about fading, peeling paint, and colors that no longer suited their home.
Completed in October 2026 under project manager Tom's oversight, the five-day transformation left the homeowners very happy with both the interior and the cabinets. For Apex Painting Group, it was another referral project built on relationships in the Gulf Shore Boulevard community.
